California Rabbit launches with the 2009 vintage of Hopping White and Hopping Red in 750 ml light glass packaging, and with 2009 Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot in 500ml Tetra Pak cartons. The wines are vibrant, fresh and exert a certain sense of confidence. Created by eco-friendly minds, these drink-now wines are made to be fun, expressive and good for that place we call home – Planet Earth.
CALIFORNIA RABBIT 2009 CHARDONNAY - 500ML CARTONS
The eco-conscious Tetra Pak cartons are fun, convenient and as efficient as wine packaging gets - 93% wine, just 7% packaging. They are resealable, shatterproof, easy to open and reduce the wine’s carbon footprint by more than 70% as compared to standard bottles, all while protecting the wine from harmful UV rays. This lighter, more compact carton reduces packaging waste by 87%, using less fuel and emissions in shipping. In fact, one truck of empty Tetra Pak cartons is the same as 26 trucks of empty bottles.
